Q&A: Seeds

Grow It! : Episode GRW-407 -- More Projects »
Where can I find a good selection of seeds?

Shopping from seed catalogs is a great low-cost way to experiment with a variety of seeds. The catalogs are available in most nurseries and contain a number of varieties that the nursery itself does not keep in stock. Many seeds found in catalogs are rare and surprisingly inexpensive, making it possible for the adventurous gardener to start beautiful plants for as little as $2.50. Just pick up a seed catalog and get started!
