Dwarf Plants

Doug Hearn of Disney's Epcot Center shares a fun, simple project that any gardening enthusiast will enjoy--a delightful miniature garden filled with a medley of dwarf plants. Although many varieties are sold in local nurseries for just a few dollars, it's not difficult to find discarded dwarf plants that have been put out for the trash collectors!

Benefits of Miniature Gardens

• Plants look mature, even when they're new.
• Most miniature plant varieties are relatively inexpensive (usually under $2).
• Miniature plants require very little maintenance.
• Limited space is not a problem when adding miniature plants.
• Many types of miniature plants are drought-hardy.
