We slept very well last night. Don and I had coffee and did a lot of dreaming and speculating about the house and what it would be like living in Georgia. Don is going to work now and I have a doctor's appointment and then I'll meet my good friend Cynthia for lunch and shopping.

The nurse recognized me and we had a great time laughing and looking at the pictures from the Comcast party (I keep them in purse). Cynthia and I are going to Starbucks for coffee before doing some shopping. She asked me if it is ok to tell people (about winning Dream Home) and I said, "No." Within 10 seconds she told the lady behind us in line. The lady said she thought she recognized us but wasn't sure. The lady was very discreet. We had fun sharing the news with her, and she wished me luck and on to shopping we went.

Back at home, my older son Brian was playing secretary, taking dozens of calls, from friends, media (asking for interviews) and calling all of the family to share the good news. I am teaching (volunteer) my scheduled stained glass class tonight and doing an interview with George Franco with our local Channel 13. I am very calm now and feel I can be myself for this interview. What fun the shop people and class had, being included in the interview and filming! It will be on the 10:00 o'clock news. Don, Brian and I watched the news, laughing, saying how lucky we are and how blessed. Well time for sleep. Don and I still can't believe it. Still thinking we will wake up and it will have been a dream.

We think we finally believe we have won.

We have so enjoyed all of the good wishes from our family and friends. I have had so much fun with the media, everyone has been so nice. We have not decided what we are going to do as to keeping the house, selling it, making it a (bed and breakfast), and so many other things friends have advised us to do. It is overwhelming at times. Things are winding down so that is giving us a lot more time to think and dream about what to do.

We want to keep the house but can see the advantages of selling it, being retired and all. I have to work the next week and a half at the shop and Don has a softball tournament this weekend, so we have put the house issue on hold. I am doing "Good Day Sacramento" - a local morning TV program on Monday (March 15, 2004) morning at Rainbow Glass. I know it will be fun!
