Located in Tyler, Texas, The Reserve at Lake Tyler will be a unique, upscale resort development situated only eight minutes from the apex of Tyler's shopping and dining hub. The development offers over 477 acres of casual living and recreation grounds, which includes approximately 100 acres of dedicated greenbelt featuring walking, hiking and biking trails, as well as picnic and play areas.
The remaining fenced and gated acres of lush, restricted residential grounds are divided into homesites ranging in size from .6 acres to 2.5 acres. All phases will be connected to a private 39 acre waterfront club and resort offering boat ramps and boat storage on Lake Tyler, plus guest lodging and meeting and dining facilities scaled to accommodate small gatherings as well as large corporate outings.
Unlike the homesites in the planned residential phases of The Reserve, the proposed HGTV Dream Home 2005 site is positioned directly on Lake Tyler, making it the only homesite in the entire community with direct access to the open lake. Lake Tyler is a 5,300 acre lake with over 35 miles of shoreline.
The proposed site will be approximately one acre in size, with about 200 feet of lake frontage along the southern side of The Reserve at Lake Tyler. The site provides unmatched sight lines, maximizes the natural ventilation provided by the site's orientation and utilizes the prevailing southern winds over Lake Tyler to create a wonderfully comfortable place to live.
