A spacious, functional and most of all beautiful master closet is a must for any HGTV Dream Home, and the Islamorada home doesn't disappoint. The closet is beautifully decorated, with lots of small touches including glass vases, candles and a large glass jar. It's also very functional with three floor-to-ceiling custom organizers.


"You can’t have a master suite without a special master closet," says designer Monica Pedersen. "The espresso-colored cabinetry makes this space feel like a room that can stand on its own."


The winner of the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway is also going to be surprised to find that Pedersen has stocked the closet with essentials including toiletries, spa tools and even swimsuits.


"For fun, I color-coordinated the hairbrushes and swimwear with the colors of the suite," she says. "It’s a great space that is finished off with a bench for comfortable dressing."
