Martha McCully, who returns as a judge on HGTV Design Star, has been the executive editor at In Style since 2002. Her special emphasis is on beauty, home, design and entertaining stories. McCully also serves as the magazine's editorial liaison to InStyle.com.
Prior to joining In Style, McCully was the editorial director of Gloss.com, a contributing editor of Elle Décor and the executive producer of Oxygen Media's style site, www.picky.com. A freelance writer, her work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Travel & Leisure and the New York Times Sunday Styles. She also worked at Condé Nast Publications for 17 years as a founding editor and beauty director of Allure magazine and on the business side of GQ.
