Colorful bedding adds a spark to the master bedroom's design.
Designer Gene Law faced a huge problem when he decided to downsize into a smaller home in Santa Fe, NM. Regardless of actual space, he was determined to make his large-scale furniture work. The small living room is filled with furniture but the arrangement makes it comfortable and inviting. Artwork on the walls gives the room height, which brings the eye up and makes the room feel more spacious than it really is. Leading into another room is a pair of ornately carved teak doors. Law used a similar value of stain on each wood piece to help unify the design. He also brought a cohesive look to the bedrooms with matching headboards upholstered in the same red and gold fabric.
