When Debbie Mankiw and her husband were expecting their third child, they decided to add on to their 1930 brick Colonial. In designing their new master bedroom suite, the goal was to keep the traditional feel of the rest of their home while creating an intimate retreat that still felt connected to the rest of house.
An arched window above the 19th-century mahogany bed emphasizes this homes 1930s brick Colonial design.
The vanity is furniture-quality cabinetry made of clear maple frames with inlaid panels of bird's-eye maple. Antique Jerusalem limestone tiles line the floors and the shower stall.
