Architect Larry Booth had the ability to look at a crumbling processing plant and see the potential for one of America's most beautiful homes. Staying true to the building's roots was a priority. A fireplace wrapped in stainless steel, polished concrete floors and exposed brick walls harken back to the home's working days.
The bedroom is sparsely furnished but awash in natural light. One unexpected but unique element, a second-story, 40-foot lap pool, is the last thing you'd expect to see in an urban home. Through the unorthodox will of a homeowner, and the unique vision of an architect, a one-time edifice of industry has become a modern-day urban oasis.
