Wall-mounted faucets and walnut sinks with stainless steel inserts give a contemporary Asian feel to the bath.
  • The long hallway leading to the master suite from the front door is flanked by his and her walk-in closets. One enters the bedroom through dark burgundy curtain panels rather than a typical door.
  • The room is divided into the space for the bed, and the seating area by a fireplace. A flat screen TV is mounted on a pole between to the two spaces and can be rotated to face either direction.
  • The bed is backed by a richly colored walnut wall with a built-in area for bedside materials.
  • The contemporary Asian-design bathroom, entered through tall burgundy curtains, is divided into three areas: the vanity, the water closet, and the tub and shower area.
  • The stainless steel shower is completely open to the rest of the room. When it or the tub are being used, a white curtain attached to the ceiling is pulled to provide the feel of a Japanese water room.
  • A Spanish limestone half wall separates the vanities from the bathing area. The soaking tub is set in a limestone box with faucets located on the outside of the tub.
  • The water closet is enclosed with a water-blue laminated sliding glass door.
  • Two freestanding walnut sinks with stainless steel inserts are lined up on the limestone half wall. A floating mirror slides back and forth between the two sinks or can be turned to face the shower.
