Every home office, guest room or kitchen can use a message and photo board.
Materials:

ceiling tile
old serrated knife
quilt batting
buttons
fabric
staple gun
ribbon
drill

Steps:

1. Cut a ceiling tile to the desired size. Draw diagonal lines from corner to corner and from center to center of each adjoining side to create a diamond shape. Drill two holes at each intersection, which will be used later for buttons (figure A).
2. Cover the tile with a layer of quilt batting and the chosen fabric. To attach the fabric, cut away the excess at the corners and fold it in to the edge. Staple it to the back.
3. Stretch coordinating satin ribbons on the diagonal and attach them with staples.
4. Sew coordinating buttons through the pre-drilled holes and secure each in the back with a knot.
