Once the top is removed, it's time for a game of pool!
Leslie Linsley and her husband Jon have a calming country retreat with a neutral palette. The backdrop of whites and warm woods is a wonderful canvas for instant makeovers and no-fuss decorating. For a quick change, she concentrates on accessories and furnishings, adding pillows in deep, rich colors, a bold colorful quilt and a variety of different easily-changeable accessories, like decoupaged plates and floral arrangements of in-season flowers. A space-saving idea is found in the dining room where the dining table is actually a pool table in disguise--Jon built a custom top so that it could be used for formal dining.
