Video: Hang favorite art from pipes found in the plumbing department.
Materials:

threaded plumbing pipe (cut to size)
elbows and flanges
rags
mineral spirits
silver spray paint
220-grit sandpaper
torpedo level
self-anchoring Molly bolts
drill
eyehooks
clip links
aircraft cable
wire rope clips
artwork

Steps:

1. Purchase standard five-foot lengths of threaded pipe and have it cut to size in the plumbing department. Screw the pipes into the elbows and remove any grime from the pipe, elbows and flanges by wiping them with a clean cloth and mineral spirits. Lightly sand all the pieces and spray-paint them after removing the dust. Let dry.
2. Attach the flanges and hold the assembly in position to make sure it's level. Mark the holes in the flange; set self-anchoring Molly bolts into the wall, and then attach the piping using screws.
3. To hang artwork, drill pilot holes into the top of the frames and attach eyehooks. Repeat this step for the bottom of a few frames so several can be attached using clip links.

4. Run a piece of aircraft cable cut to length through the eyehooks and around the pipe. Secure the wire together using wire rope clips (figure A).
5. To ensure that the prints hang straight, use a torpedo level and adjust the wire and rope clips as necessary.
