Junking Up the Bedroom

Two artists have made a living by "going junking" where they take old, junky antiques and turn them into fun and unique furniture and accents. These one-of-a-kind country collectibles put a new spin on turning trash to treasure. Junking can be fun for any room, but Ki Nassauer and Sue Whitney have reassigned a few treasures for the bedroom.

A discarded chair is used as a picture frame with the addition of a glass insert.

A rake is hung on the wall with iron hooks. Overflowing ivy hanging from the hooks adds a natural element to the design.

Old chair legs have been cut on an angle and attached to an old piece of wood where they've become a functional peg rack for hats, clothes and accessories.

Old heating grates are arranged on the wall for an eye-catching display.
