Finding new uses for old things is Roddie Turner's passion. Part recycler, part bargain-hunter, Turner's home reflects her talent for turning trash into treasure. Below are some of her favorite salvaged pieces.

- an old creamery container now serving as a small side table with the addition of a glass top
- a potting table, now functioning as a work space in her kitchen (figure B)
- a two-part buffet comprised of an old Mexican alter piece on top and a buffet below custom-made to fit the space (figure C)
