Trash To Treasure: Corner Shelf, Trellis, Birdfeeders
Decorating Cents : Episode DCT-1705 -- More Projects »
Make a corner shelf out of one door, plywood and molding. Cut the door in half and attach. Add plywood shelves and trim with dentil molding. Finish the top and bottom with decorative trim for a finished look.
Use an old umbrella for a fun birdfeeder. Drill a hole into the center of a plate. Remove the umbrella handle, thread the plate on the rod and reattach the handle with epoxy.
Use a discarded garden gate as garden planter. Hang sap buckets from the wire or place a container on the ground in front of the gate and fill with soil and a vining plant.
Make the birds happy with a dainty teacup birdfeeder. Drill a hole into the center of a cup and saucer with a ceramic drill bit. Place both on a piece of threaded rod and secure with a washer and nut.
