PHOTO
Salvage four old windows for a rustic potting bench. Build the bottom piece by creating a box structure out of three windows and scrap lumber for the top and lower shelf. Add rungs underneath the lower shelf for more support. Brace the fourth window to the top shelf with a piece of wood. Add vintage hooks to the top to hold gardening tools.

Add 1x3 boards for shelves inside an arbor top to hold small collectibles or potted plants.

Recycle a piece of tin ceiling tile for a trivet and a set of coasters. Cut plywood and tin pieces to desired size, wrap tin around each wood square and tack in place on the back. Glue a piece of felt to the back of each to protect furniture.
