Salvage Store Décor
Country Style : Episode COS-309 -- More Projects »
In the JunkMarket in Minneapolis, MN, two moms have put a collection of old stuff to good use. Their 7,000-square-foot warehouse is stocked full of items ready to be remade into something new. Here are some of their own creations:
- An old workbench once used to bend wood is topped with a piece of glass for a rustic coffee table.
- A lamp is created out of a surveyor's stand, part of a cupola, a chair leg and birch pieces.
Magazines are organized on a metal crib rail attached to the wall. Bullseye molding and a piece of trim top off the look. Old tractor parts are used as candleholders and grouped on and around an old scale.A side table is created out of an old parts bin, casters and a retrofitted tabletop.A wire laundry basket is topped with a piece of glass for a unique side table.
Old bike wheels are attached to bullseye molding and a piece of wainscoting for a three-dimensional look. Postcards and old photos are clipped on with clothespins.
