Gail Elliott: At Work

Born in London, England, Gail Elliott has been modeling for 18 years. Her famous face has graced the covers of American Vogue and Marie Claire magazines, as well as Italian, British and French magazines. She’s worked with many of the runway greats, including Versace, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Armani and Ralph Lauren. A busy professional with a successful career, she divides her time between Tribeca, New York, and her home in the Hamptons, which she shares with her Australian-born writer/director husband, Joe Coffey.

Gail Elliott: At Home

Gail Elliott and husband Joe Coffey bought the land for their four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot Hamptons home in 1996. Two years later their home, which is surrounded by a 400-acre national reserve, was ready to move in to. "One of my favorite things about this home," says Elliott, "is the view out over the dunes and the sound of the ocean."

Like Elliott herself, the Balinese-influenced Hamptons home she shares with her husband has a welcoming style. The couple wanted an open, spacious house, so there’s an easy flow between the kitchen, dining area, living room and sunroom on the lower level. Upstairs, clean lines and cool colors lend an easy feel, creating a comfortable island-style getaway just a couple of hours from downtown New York.
