Guest Claire Plummer says the secret to making spectacular garlands is to use one continuous strand of wire instead of breaking if off. She uses 20-gauge wire, which is strong enough to hold larger pieces, but is still pliable and easy to twist around the greenery.

Tips:

  • Insert wire through smaller fruit pieces and bend the tip to secure it.
  • Wrap wire around the stem on apples, pears, etc.
