Designer Nan Sloan shares how to make a covered storage side table using a nail keg and a plywood top.

Steps:

  1. Cut a piece of plywood slightly smaller than the opening of the keg and cut another piece slightly larger. Screw the two pieces together.
  2. Stretch a piece of oilcloth over the plywood top and attach around the edges with decorative upholstery tacks.
