Watch the Video: Turn a flat panel into a topper with mock jabots on either side and hang it with tassels.
Materials:

two complementary fabrics
tassels (two per topper)
drawer knobs
cording

Steps:

1. Cut a piece of each fabric to the same size and pin cording along the seam line of one long edge on the right side of one piece. Note: The featured panels were 19"x54" to allow for seam allowances.
2. Lay the other panel on top so right sides are together and pin all the way around. Sew along the edges, leaving an opening for turning. Turn the topper right side out; iron it flat, and then hand-stitch the opening closed.
3. Decide the placement of the tassels, making sure they are closer together than the knobs to allow for pulling, and hand-stitch each in place.
4. Secure the drawer knobs to the window casing and loop the tassels over each. Arrange the mock jabots so the lining fabric shows.
