Tropical Window Valances

WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO Video: Since privacy isn't an issue in this room, simple valances that coordinate with the floral cushions accented with raffia lend another tropical touch.

2 coordinating fabrics
grommets
scissors
cup hooks
raffia

Steps :

1. Sew flat rectangular panels to the desired length with a band of coordinating fabric along the bottom edge. Attach grommets to the panels at the desired locations .

2. Screw cup hooks to the window trim in each coordinating grommet location and hang the valance.

3. Create a loop in a bunch of raffia, leaving plenty of hanging excess and place one over each cup hook.
