Video: See how easy it is to sew a cushion with channels that provides interest, color and comfort to a plain built-in window seat.
Materials:

fabric (Lancaster #4648911) (Jo-Ann, Etc.)
quilt batting
plastic wrap

Steps:

1. Cut two long rectangular pieces of fabric, one three inches narrower than the other, and channel stitch them together every eight inches. Note: Make it longer than the window seat so it can be rolled at one end.
2. Cut layers of quilt batting to size and cover one end in plastic wrap for easy insertion. Insert the batting bundles into the channels, and then remove the plastic.
3. Pin the long ends closed and stitch them in place. Attach matching binding strips to the short ends to finish the cushion.
