Window Seat Cushions

Video: Create comfortable seating by adding cushions to a window seat.
Materials:

electric knife (optional)
3" foam rubber
fabric
zipper or hook and loop tape

Steps:

1. Have a craft store cut the foam to size or use an electric knife to do it yourself.

2. Cut top and bottom pieces of fabric 5/8 inch larger than the foam all the way around. Then, cut enough boxing material to cover one long side, both short sides and about six to eight inches onto the other long side. Fill in the missing boxing area with a split piece of boxing held together with either a zipper or hook and loop tape (figure A).
3. Sew all of the boxing together and then sew the top and bottom to the boxing. Turn the cover inside out, and slip it over the foam.
