Designer Barb Garrett has a suggestion for those hard-to-cover windows. Because of odd shape or location of some windows, it's impossible to hang a window treatment, but privacy is a must. Use rice paper and undiluted liquid starch to solve the problem. Cut the rice paper to the size needed, and adhere to the windows with ordinary liquid starch found at the grocery store. As an added touch, starch pressed leaves or flowers onto the window prior to adding the rice paper. The transparency of the paper will allow the leaves or flowers to show through.
