Bishop's Sleeve Window Treatment

A bishop's sleeve fabric treatment softens and stands up to a tall window.

Turn simple long panels into a bishop's sleeve window treatment, perfect for any dining room.
Materials:

heavy woven fabric
tassels
hooks

Steps:

1. Sew a very long panel with a two-inch header and 1-1/2-inch rod pocket. The full length of the panel is the height from the bottom of the rod to the floor, plus 36 additional inches for 12 inches at each pouf of the bishop's sleeve and 12 extra for puddling on the floor.

2. Hang the panels on the rod, and then gather the first pouf and use a tassel and a hook to hold it in place (figure A).
3. Repeat another pouf further down on each panel and arrange the extra fabric on the floor as desired.
