Watch the Video: Shari Hiller demonstrates how to make pinch-pleated panels to soften any window in your home.
Materials:

fabric
pleater tape
4-pronged drapery pins
drapery rings with clips

Steps:

1. Cut the fabric to the desired finished width plus extra for doubled one-inch side seams, a four-inch base hem and a 1-/2-inch header. Sew in the side seams and bottom hem. Fold ½ inch over at the top and pin/iron it in place.
2. Mark the pleater tape with a pin in the slots where the drapery prongs will go. Pin the tape along the top and stitch it along both sides in place on the header.
3. Insert the four-pronged drapery pins into the spots marked with pins which will pleat the fabric.
4. Hook a ring clip to the back of each pleat and hang on rods.
