Video: Stationary fabric panels with fringe add elegant softness to any window.
Materials:

two coordinating fabrics
bullion fringeSteps:

1. Cut out only one panel of each fabric to cover the window with enough length for hems and headers. Cut the panels in half lengthwise. Even though the panels are half-widths of fabric, there's plenty of fullness and fabric to look appropriate. This cuts the cost of the draperies in half, but only works if the panels are going to be stationary at the sides of the windows with some other treatment available for privacy and light control.

2. Sew the panels together, making a rod pocket at the top and insert bullion fringe along the inside edge (figure A) and along the bottom for a final touch (figure B).
