After purchasing a historic 1905 home in Atlanta, Jennifer Murray and Marc Dobiecki have dreamed of restoring the property. To set the tone for the rest of the home, they want to begin with the formal parlor and adjoining library. Although they plan on doing most of the work themselves, they're looking for a designer who will bring Victorian elegance to the rooms.
Before: Dull and Empty
When looking to purchase a home, Murray and Dobiecki loved that the architecture of this historic home hadn't been modified much from its original state. The home needs a lot of restoration though, and they're starting with the parlor. They want to get rid of the tile flooring and replace the fireplace surround and mantel. The light fixture needs a little updating, and they are looking for antique pieces to fill the room. For all available product information, click on the After photo(s) of the room.
