Designer Cy Winship creates what he calls "tables with an attitude" using acrylic display boxes and mannequin’s feet. The tops of the display boxes were scratched when Winship found them at a garage sale. So, he uses an electric sander to cover the scratches and give the tops a frosted appearance. Then three holes are drilled in the bottoms of the display cases. A pair mannequin’s feet are screwed into front two holes and a third ordinary table leg is placed in the back. The nightstands are topped with the homeowner's glass lamps.
