Flight attendant Jane has a very transient lifestyle and has never felt the need to commit to a particular color or style. Now that she's bought her first house, she's ready to do just that. Jane is hoping that by putting color in her living/dining room, she can create a sense of familiarity and home. Paris is a favorite destination, so she opts for colors reminiscent of the warm architecture, vibrant culture and rich cuisine found there to transform her own space.

Before: Basic Browns
Jane has a lot of treasured family antiques, which she has supplemented with two modern upholstered chairs. However, the walls are beige, the carpeting is tan and the furniture is brown. She describes her carpeting as "disgusting," so it definitely has to go.
