The fireplace was definitely the focal point, but watching TV is the Kaselak's main activity in the room. So, Behm combines the two by installing the flat-screened TV above the new wooden mantel. He also extends the stonework up to the ceiling in a solid rectangular shape. Now the couple can watch TV while enjoying a cozy fire.
