Dee Gruenig's fabulous cards do more than just pop out at you...they really explode! These fun and easy-to-make cards are sure to be remembered long after you've sent them.
Materials:
glossy paper, 8-1/2" x 8-1/2"
glue or double-sided tape
double sided glossy card stock folded to 4-1/2" by 6"
Steps:
- Using rubber stamps, color copies, drawings, etc., create a design on 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" glossy paper.
- Place glossy paper on tabletop, right side up, and fold it in half diagonally. Crease well along the fold.
- Unfold the paper and re-fold it diagonally in the opposite direction. Crease well and unfold.
- Turn paper over and fold it in half vertically.
- Turn the card over again and let the paper collapse into a triangle-shaped base.
- Fold all four corners at the base of the triangle into the center.
- Unfold these corner folds, then reverse-fold, pushing the fourcorners inside.
- Double-check your folded paper to make sure the design is going the right way, and then use glue or double-stick tape to attach your folded design to the inside of the card.
