Stenciled Headboard

Materials:

Dressler stencil #658 - Acanthus Headboard
stencil creme paint
acrylic paints
stencil brushes
paper towels
paper plates
tape
measuring tape

Steps:

  1. Position the leg section of the stencil at the floor and use a level to establish a true vertical line.
  2. Tape the stencil to the wall and apply according to stencil package instructions. Position the top section by lining up the registration holes with the marks from the previous leg section, and stencil as instructed.
  3. Flip the stencil to the dull side along the vertical axis, and line up the registration holes and marks. Stencil as before. Add the leg.
  4. Position the bed up against the stenciled headboard.
Tip: Use these measurements for creating headboards for different sized beds:
Twin 40"
Queen 70"
King 80"
