Stenciled Mailbox

Personalize a mailbox with stencils and a favorite phrase or your address to brighten the daily task of picking up the mail.

Materials:

white metal mailbox
metal paint (32 Coal Black, 02 Ivory, 22 Hunter Green, 29 Burnt Sienna, 15 Deep Purple)
vinegar
assorted stencil brushes
stencils (#560S Wild Grapes Small, 303XS Twig Lettering Extra Small)
tape

Steps :

1. Wipe the surface of the mailbox with vinegar to ensure that the paint will adhere .
2. Position the stencils on the mailbox as desired and start with the lightest colors first according to the instructions.
3. Make guide lines for the lettering and stencil the name and address or phrase .
4. Allow the paint to cure for five days before putting it outside.
