Steps:
- Prepare table for lettering by priming and painting as desired.
- Use the letter stencils to build words on paper first, working with the spacing so that it will fit in the desired space.
- Place the paper proof above the area to be stenciled and duplicate the spacing on your project (figure A). Build up the color intensity slowly so the paint will not run under the stencil.
- Add additional stenciled elements like checkerboards and coordinating motifs as desired.
