Grace Taormina from Rubber Stampede uses foam stamps to coordinate and decorate everything from plain napkins and place mats to plates!
Materials:
foam stamps (discontinued: #63008, 63001)
fabric place mats, napkins
stamping paints in various colors (#65001-038)
wedge sponge
plastic-coated paper plate
small brush
paper towels, water
Steps:
- Squeeze a small amount of paint onto a paper plate.
- Load the wedge sponge by patting into the paint, then patting the paint onto the stamp until the image is coated.
- Use a different wedge sponge for each paint color being applied onto the stamp. You can also blend colors in the foliage using this technique.
- Stamp the image onto the fabric.
- Continue to stamp, re-inking your stamp until you've stamped all the images in the particular colors selected.
- Allow the fabric to dry completely before using.
