Recycled materials are combined to create a rustic candle sconce. First, old beadboard is nailed together to make a shelf. Then a table-top tile saw is used to cut off the bottom of a wine bottle so it can serve as the sconce’s globe. Wine bottles can crack when exposed to heat, so a battery-operated tea light is used instead of a real candle.
