Use the same idea to hold jewelry for easy access. Put felt on the cardboard backing to keep your items protected.
Materials:

5 picture frames (three 5" x 7" and two 6" x 9")
paint
nylon screening (metal will rust)
craft knife or scissors
hot glue gun/glue
small double-sided screws
drill
pliers
10 wooden knobs (6 small for tray handles and 4 large for feet)
two 7" pieces of scrap wood
four 6" pieces of quarter round molding

Steps:

1. Remove the glass and paint frames/knobs in desired color(s). Let dry.

2. Using the cardboard backing as a guide, cut nylon screening to fit the inside of the three 5" x 7" frames (these will be the trays). Glue the screen to the inside edge of the trays.

3. For the handles, pre-drill two holes into the front of each tray and the small knobs.

4. Use pliers to put double-sided screws into the tray holes, and then screw on the knobs.

5. Attach the two larger outer frames together by standing them up on their sides and gluing the seven-inch pieces of wood into the bottom inside corners.

6. Glue four pieces of quarter round upside down to act as runners for the top and middle trays (the lower tray sits on the bottom).

7. Glue four larger wooden knobs onto the bottom for feet and slide the trays in place.
