Turn salvaged roof vents upside down for a new perspective and use as candleholders.
Materials:

3 rain cap roof vents
drill and 1/4" metal bit
hammer
plumbing ball chain
looped ring connectors
ball chain connectors
key ring
3 glass votive holders and votives
S-hook

Steps:

1. Turn vents over and drill three equidistant holes for the chain. Hammer the sharp hole edges flat by hitting them from the opposite side.Repeat for each vent .

2. Line the vents up on their sides. Cut nine lengths of plumbing ball chain to desired length. Add a looped ring connector to the first three chains and thread them through the first (top) vent. Then add three ball chain connectors to hold each vent in place. Repeat until all chains are attached for the upper and middle vents .

3. To secure the last (bottom) vent, add bell-shaped ends to the chains and thread them up through the last vent. Then fasten the end of the chain to the connectors under the second vent.

4. Clasp the top chains to a key ring and attach an S-hook to make it easy to hang .

5. Place a small glass votive in each vent.
