Increase storage in a kitchen or pantry by combining various colanders to hold fruits and vegetables.
Materials:

three colanders of graduated sizes
drill and metal drill bit
pliers
medium -strength chain
metal shower curtain hooks
ceiling hook

Steps:

1. Remove colander handles. Cut the chain into nine six-inch lengths.

2. To ensure they hang level, measure the circumference of the largest colander and divide that number by three. Mark the distance on the colander. Place the other colanders inside each other and mark the spots on each so they are even. Turn each upside down and drill the equidistant holes for chains.

3. Thread a hook through one of the holes in the largest colander; add a piece of chain, and then close the hook. Repeat for the other two holes.

4. Add the second colander by sliding a hook through the top link from the lower tier and adding another length of chain. Then slide a hook through one of the holes in the middle basket. Repeat until the second colander is attached to the first. Attach the top basket in the same manner.

5. Join the three chains together with a single shower curtain hook.

6. Hang from ceiling hook.
