Rusty Tool Tip

If scissors or other tools becomes rusty, soak them in vinegar for a couple of hours until the rust dissolves away. White vinegar is the cheapest and works as well as others. You can also scrub with salt to remove additional rust. When done, dry the scissors well. You can also wipe them with some oil to lubricate, but be sure to clean off the oil before cutting fabric, etc.
