Use "rubber paint" on the handles of tools and craft items to create a good grip and also to identify your tools. This paint creates a thick coat, which adds a lot of cushioniong and grip, much like tools that are rubber-coated at the factory .

Rubber paint can be found in paint stores and home centers. Objects can either be dipped in the paint or it can be brushed on. A spray paint product is also available.
