Learn to Be Creative

Nan Sloan returns to share some great tips for decorating on a budget. Her advice is to always look beyond an object's "normal use." For example, a rag rug makes a wonderful table topper in a country setting, and a valance can be fashioned from a simple table runner and a few cafe clips (see picture at right). Napkins sewn together make perfect coordinating pillow covers for throw pillows. Remember: just be imaginative!
