Garden Stakes

Create whimsical garden stakes using threaded pipe and cups and saucers (figure A). Drill a hole in the bottom of a cup and saucer with a metal drill bit. Attach threaded pipe with a washer and nut on the underside of the saucer and another nut inside the cup.

Ashtray Stand Lamp

Create a one-of-a-kind lamp with an old ashtray stand, basketweave shade and lamp kit (figure B). Turn the stand over (reassemble the parts, if necessary) and thread the wire up through the middle. Attach the rest of the lamp parts and top with a basketweave shade.

Phone Table

Pair a handkerchief box from an old dresser with four table legs for a small phone table (figure C).
