Trash to Treasure: Tables, Clock, Window Sign
Decorating Cents : Episode DCT-705 -- More Projects »
Connect an old wooden farm sifter (used for flour or grain) to three tapered legs with screws for a simple side table.
Refurbish an old metal tin by attaching a clock mechanism (available at hardware stores) to the top and add a hook to the back to hang.
An old stereo speaker makes a perfect table form. Attach beadboard to the front, then architectural columns to the side. Cover a standard tabletop (available at home improvement stores) with leftover tile and simple molding around the edges for a great piece.
Hand-paint a window sign with gold acrylic (draw two lines with a dry erase marker on the opposite side to ensure straight letters).
