Shutter Table

Attach an old shutter to a set of drawers and add three graceful-looking legs (figure A). Top with a piece of glass and place behind a sofa or along a foyer wall.

Map Table

Add a graphic chalkboard map to a tabletop (figure B) or distress a new map with stain and attach with decoupage glue.

Enamel Bowl Birdbath

Using a metal drill bit, drill three holes in an enamel bowl (figure C) . Thread 18-gauge wire through the holes and string with beads, small ceramic drawer pulls, etc. Create a loop at the top and hang outside for a fanciful bird bath or use inside as a funky plant holder.
