Valet Stand

Keep clothing wrinkle-free and accessories organized on a chair valet stand.

1/2" paddle bit
2 dowels
old chair
screws
drill
cedar hanger
rubber mallet

Steps:

1. Remove the chair back by hammering out the rails. Paint or stain the chair and dowels as desired and let dry.

2. Cut the dowels into 2-1/2-foot lengths and place them in the existing outer chair holes. Screw them in from the bottom.

3. Use a 1/2-inch paddle bit to make holes in the bottom of the hanger. Put it on the dowels and screw it in place from the top of the hanger.

4. Attach a piece of wood to hold trousers six inches down from the hanger.

5. Wrap ribbon around the metal hook of the hanger for decoration.
