Jennifer O'Neill used the same principles to create a tall shelving unit topped with beautiful glass drapery finials.
Materials:

3/4" copper pipe
8 copper pipe T-joints
4 copper elbows
copper adhesive
pipe cutter
two glass pieces with finished edges
copper tape
4 furniture protectors
8 silicon protector pads

Steps:

1. Make sure the pipes are pre-treated with sealant to keep them from oxidizing. Cut the pipe into four 27-inch lengths, two 18-inch lengths, four 10-inch lengths and four four-inch lengths.

2. Start putting the base together by adding elbow joints to each end of two 27 -inch pieces. Add the ten-inch pipes to the other side of the joints, forming the four legs of the table.

3. Add T-joints to the top of each leg. Attach the two 18-inch pipes to each side of the T-joints to act as crossbars and connect both sides to form one large unit.

4. Put the four-inch segments on top of the T-joints, and then put more T-join ts on top of them.

5. Complete the base by adding the final two cross pieces of 27-inch pipe.

6. Glue furniture protectors in the top of the T-joints to cover the holes.

7. Once assembly is complete, glue the pipes together one joint at a time with copper adhesive.

8. Put copper tape along the edges of the glass for a decorative touch. Add silicon protector pads to the pipe where the glass will sit and put each piece in place.
